System Implementation Training Supports
Global Software Rollout

Challange
International Auto Logistics

International Auto Logistics (IAL), a subsidiary of the IAP Group, provides specialized automotive logistics services for the U.S. Government and other sectors. The organization faced a major training challenge while preparing for the global rollout of a new proprietary auto logistics system called LASER.

To ensure standardization and operational alignment across its global processing, shipment, and storage operations, IAL needed an effective way to train a geographically dispersed workforce on the newly implemented LASER system.

While system implementation training was identified as a potential strategy to drive adoption, the company lacked a formal training infrastructure that could support deployment at scale. Given the distribution of employees across multiple continents, traditional classroom-based training was not a viable option.

IAL engaged TrainingFolks to assess its training environment and recommend a scalable, efficient approach to support rapid user adoption of the LASER system.

Solution

TrainingFolks began by conducting a comprehensive training needs assessment to uncover knowledge gaps, system adoption barriers, and workforce readiness. These insights informed the design of a structured system implementation training program, integrated with microlearning best practices to support both initial rollout and long-term performance.

The training solution featured:

  • 100 topic-based microlearning modules mapped directly to the core functions of the new system

  • Self-paced content designed to accommodate varying levels of digital proficiency and job responsibilities

  • A scalable delivery model that ensured consistent training across globally distributed teams

  • On-demand access for continuous reinforcement and just-in-time performance support

By combining implementation-specific instruction with microlearning flexibility, the program empowered employees to adopt the new system confidently, without disrupting day-to-day logistics operations.

Results

The microlearning program developed by TrainingFolks was fully adopted across International Auto Logistics operations and continues to support global user needs.

Key outcomes included:

  • Full user adoption of the LASER system across international sites

  • High learner satisfaction due to ease of use and targeted content

  • Sustained performance support, with modules available on demand

  • Global consistency in applying system processes and standards

The modular format ensured ongoing value beyond initial training, providing field teams with quick answers and reinforcement when needed.
