A Successful Internet-based Learning Experience Requires a Strong Virtual Instructor
The Virtual Instructor is responsible for having a thorough understanding of the training materials, which requires various levels of specialization.
They must be able to present information effectively by delivering a unique internet-based learning experience that combines the convenience of virtual delivery with the effectiveness of an interactive classroom experience.
The Virtual Instructor works with various stakeholders to evaluate the success of virtual learning sessions and may serve as a performance coach through consulting, monitoring, and evaluating training results.
A successful Virtual Instructor understands how their platform can maximize the instructional approach designed, also the Virtual Instructor is comfortable pairing with a Virtual Producer to deliver a quality learning experience.

Virtual Instructor: Level I
Responsibilities:
- Participate in train the trainer activities
- Review content and practice to ensure effective delivery
- Some pre-program coordination activities required by a virtual trainer
- Compile pre-work or assessment results
- Prepare the virtual training environment prior to session delivery in partnership with the assigned moderator
- Deliver learning sessions following the instructional flow of content material
- Use specific virtual training tools to conduct the live sessions
- Working with the use of a separate moderator to facilitate interactive hands-on exercises and answering questions
- Complete level 1 and level 2 learning session evaluations for participant reaction and learning
- Post-session phone and/or email follow-up activities as required
- Provide feedback on session improvements such as content, flow, exercises, activities
Experience:
- Worked within client-specific industry or line of business
- Good knowledge of the subject matter
- Virtual learning session delivery experience with the assistance of a moderator
- Presented to front-line employees and managers
- Virtual Instruction Certifications
- Proficient in using all components of specific virtual training tools
Virtual Instructor: Level 2
Responsibilities:
- Participate in train the trainer activities
- Review content and practice to ensure effective delivery
- Some pre-program coordination activities required by a virtual instructor
- Compile pre-work or assessment results.
- Prepare the virtual training environment before session delivery in partnership with the assigned moderator
- Deliver learning sessions following the instructional flow of content material
- Use specific virtual training tools to conduct the live sessions
- Working with the use of a Virtual Producer to facilitate interactive hands-on exercises and answering questions

Experience:
- Acted as self-moderator to facilitate interactive hands-on exercises and answer questions
- An in-depth career in client industry or line of business
- In-depth knowledge of the subject matter
- Industry Accreditation required
- Presented to mid/senior and executive level management
- Virtual Instruction Certifications and demonstrated volume of virtual delivery
- Proficiency in using all components of specific virtual presentation tools including those used for moderation
