TrainingFolks Helps Children’s Hospital Autism Team Adjust to Change

CHARLOTTE - The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) has been committed to providing children with dedicated and specialized pediatric health services for almost 30 years. When new roles and responsibilities were assigned to the CHEO Autism Spectrum Disorder School Support Consultants, as a result of reorganization, skill gaps were uncovered.   

“To be successful with their new responsibilities, our Consultants needed to develop a new set of knowledge, skills and behaviors to work within our new processes,” says Therese Labonte, Autism Spectrum Disorder Program Manager, School Support Programs.

To assist them in this transition, CHEO engaged TrainingFolks (www.trainingfolks.com), which specializes in Performance Consulting, Leadership Development and designing and executing employee-based development systems.
